Does your computer save your digital notes? [closed]

Hello everyone I have studied computers in the past and now I am back on the road to study Computer Science and Mathematics. A refreshed approach again. I have used notepad to save all of my definitions, notes, and trending news. I have deleted file trees in the past because the definitions could not be serialized into content. I have learned to write my own scripts that extract the text files I created using semi-colons, colons, and vertical bars to define the format the script can split into parts. The most frustrating part about computer science is that it's actually not documented neither were the hardware. Now today hardware and each language is being documented well. It became a problem when I was younger to stay on topic about memory because memory is a term used in each topic of computers; hardware, software, or networking. It was hard to link my definitions and notes to conversations I was having with professional computer scientists. When I was young I relied on the Association for Computing Machinery Classification System to help define the parallel and transparency between each topic. ACM Classification System released a new curriculum in 2023. I have decided to use the chapter titles as the names of folders where I will categorize my definitions and notes. I am back on the road of designing a software that can document my work and display a dashboard of a project with relevant definitions using a filter application. As you know computers have not been documented and what purpose each computer can serve a normal user. The purpose for business has been documented and linked properly. In recent years I have seen professionals trying to use their company's software to write down notes to find out there is a limitation on memory for the user not the company's records. People are very smart and are eager to turn their computer into their content driven webpage. The terminal will not replace what other software can do. Writers and photographers some times are at the heels of the terminal window. Learning how to automate your life's biography is becoming essential today. How to teach others is important. You are professionals here. I would like to know how you documented your work, where is your digital documents today, and how does it benefit you and other's today?
