I'm a CS student with a question about shared computers and setting up a development environment
I'm a student studying software engineering at university, and I would like to know if it is possible to set up a development environment on a shared computer, like in the computer lab, instead of locally on my dorm room machine. I learn better if I'm in a place like a library or a lab, but the workstations in the lab have limitations on what kinds of applications can and cannot be installed, and things like this. Does anybody have any recommendations on setting up a simple development environment on a shared-use machine? Thanks for your time in advance. acomputerlab206
