We slap our phones into cases the moment we get them, yet phone makers still obsess over colors. Not that we’re complaining— but it does feel like an exercise in futility. Still, if colors are your thing, here’s what Motorola has lined up for the Razr 60 Ultra.
Pantone colors galore
A report from YTECHB has revealed two more colors for the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. Motorola is once again pulling from Pantone’s palette for its Razr lineup. This includes Pink (we’re not sure what shade) and Roman Coffee (a warm brown with subtle orange undertones). Motorola typically offers four color options for the Razr lineup. Previous leaks confirmed Dark Green and Rio Red, and this report completes the set.
The report also hints at a faux leather back, a familiar touch for Motorola’s foldables. Other than that, the Razr 60 Ultra doesn’t look too different from the previous models.
What can we expect from the Razr 60 Ultra?
The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra will be at least one of two models of foldables from Motorola. In 2024, the company launched the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra. If Motorola keeps to tradition, this year will bring us the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra. Outside the US, these phones will be called the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra. In the US, they’ll likely be branded as the Razr (2025) and Razr+ (2025)—a naming quirk that’s worth keeping in mind.
We already know the rumored specs of the Razr 60 Ultra. Leaks suggest the Razr 60 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, though it’s unclear if Motorola will use the 7-core or 8-core variant. Leaks suggest the foldable will keep the same 6.9-inch inner display and 4-inch cover display, though Motorola hasn’t confirmed any upgrades to refresh rate, resolution, or brightness.
So far, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is shaping up to be more of a refined update rather than a radical overhaul—and that might be for the best. Keeping familiar design elements, using Pantone-inspired colors, and (hopefully) maintaining a price-conscious approach, Motorola seems intent on keeping its foldables more accessible to the masses. So, are any of you planning on picking up either of these foldables when it launches?
