Apple is ramping up work on a new Studio Display, according to a new report from Mark Gurman. The company's current 27-inch Studio Display arrived in 2022 and retails for $1599, though it's on sale today for $1299.In a newsletter to subscribers today, Gurman predicts that a new version of the display will arrive by 2026. I'm told that Apple is currently testing prototypes of a display — code-named J427 — that should arrive by 2026. It will be a successor to the current Studio Display, rather than the Pro Display XDR, and features a design that's similar to the 2022 model. It also will have roughly the same size screen.
