Shared computers and setting up a development environment [closed]
Is it possible to set up a development environment on a shared computer, like in the computer lab, instead of locally on my dorm room machine? I learn better if I'm in a place like a library or a lab, but the workstations in the lab have limitations on what kinds of applications can and cannot be installed, and things like this. Does anybody have any recommendations on setting up a simple development environment on a shared-use machine?
