Upcoming PS5 Bundle’s Price and Details Leaked

A few weeks ago, it was reported a new Astro Bot PS5 console bundle was in the works and would release next month. Details were sparse at the time, but a new report has revealed more information about the bundle, including when it might release.

The Astro Bot PS5 bundle will launch on March 13 according to noted video game industry insider billbil-kun. There will be two editions available to purchase, both of which include a digital copy of the game. The insider suggests there will be a Standard console bundle which features a disc drive and a Digital console bundle. In the U.S., these will be priced at $449.99, and $399.99 respectively.

Currently, PS5 consoles cost $499.99 and $449.99 for the disc drive and digital versions respectively. This means these bundles, which includes last year’s Game of the Year, are being sold at a $50 discount. Including the price of the game ($59.99), customers are actually saving $110.

Billbil-kun mentioned that both of these new Astro Bot PS5 bundles will be available in both the U.S. and Europe. For our European readers, it is reported the cost of the console will be €499.99 and €399.99 for the Standard and Digital bundles, respectively. Again, counting the price of the game, European customers will save €120.

These bundles have not yet been officially announced on any of PlayStation’s social channels, so it is still unknown whether these dates will stick. However, billbil-kun has been a reliable source for leaks and rumors, so its highly likely that at the very least, these bundles exist. We’ll definitively know everything once Sony officially announces the Astro Bot PS5 bundle possibly in the near future.
