Circle to Search Rolls Out to the Nothing Phone (1)

If you own Nothing’s first-ever Phone 1, then you might want to check your phone for the latest software update, which finally brings Google’s rather-handy Circle to Search feature to the device, in addition to a few other new tweaks to functionality. The update comes with version number V3.0-250218-1552 and has started seeding for users in different regions worldwide.

As for the other changes, the update includes power-off password verification which blocks immediate power-off if one’s phone is lost, as well as improvements to the “response speed” of the Settings app and enhanced speed of the Quick Settings pull-down animation in landscape mode, enhancements to WiFi and Bluetooth, and the February security patch for Android. Finally, the update also includes new wallpapers for the Phone 1.

In other recent Nothing news, the company is expected to launch the Nothing Phone 3a series in March, which will feature a new camera module design, as well as a dedicated camera hardware button. Nothing also posted a new video highlighting the Phone 3a’s design, including its unique-looking camera setup.
