We’ve finally reached a point in time where the Google Pixel 9a has been pretty much revealed online, and right now all that’s left for Google to do is formally announce the device and make it available for pre-order, although this isn’t scheduled to happen anytime soon, at least until later this March.

In the meantime though, a new video originally shared online by Alexis Garza via Discord (and later posted by on Threads by user Shane Craig) shows a quick clip of the upcoming midrange phone with a bit of hands-on action. The clip shows the different angles of the sides and rear panel of the phone, as well as the non-existent camera bump.

This gives us a better view of the phone, and based on a follow-up comment by Garza, the Pixel 9a supposedly has a “Lumia” feel to it – Google’s Pixel A-series phones typically use plastic instead of glass for the rear panel, and seeing the same design approach on the 9a is very on-point for Google.

Expected to be unveiled on March 19th, the Pixel 9a will supposedly start at $499. The phone is expected to come with a 6.2-inch display with a peak brightness of 2,700 nits and 120Hz refresh rate, and will be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, alongside 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
