PS Store Refunds Issued for PS5 Game Due to Last-Minute Delay

PS Store refunds are being issued for a PS5 game that was due out today, but was delayed indefinitely on consoles just a day ago. 5v5 hero shooter FragPunk was dated for consoles back in December, but Bad Guitar Studio ran into technical difficulties. The developer apologized for the inconvenience and announced compensation for those affected.

PS Store refunds for FragPunk won’t impact dev compensation

With PS Store pre-orders being canceled and refunded, Bad Guitar Studio promised compensation for all console players and additional compensation offer for those who pre-ordered.

All console players will receive rewards they were supposed to gain for engagement. This will include rewards offered from the start of Season 1 until Fragpunk becomes available on consoles. Rewards include in-game currency, cosmetics, exp, and more. Further details will be announced nearer the time.

Those who pre-ordered will be given $10 worth of in-game currency as an apology in addition to the above. As for the pre-order bonuses, Bad Guitar Studio says it’ll make them available as a limited-time bundle after Fragpunk launches for consoles, giving players a chance to snag them. No further details are available at this time.

Fragpunk’s PC release is not impacted.

“Our team is working closely with both the Xbox and PlayStation teams to get FragPunk into your hands as soon as possible, and we will keep you updated every step of the way,” the statement reads.
