Switch 2 Ad Brings Back Paul Rudd Decades After His SNES Commercial

Sometimes, you must go back to go forward. Nintendo apparently took that to heart when promoting the upcoming Switch 2, as the company has brought back Ant-Man star Paul Rudd for a new commercial for the hybrid system. Rudd originally appeared in a 1991 TV ad for SNES before he was a household name and Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero.Nintendo shared the Switch 2 launch commercial--called Now You're Playing Together--on YouTube. It's a riff on the 1991 SNES commercial starring Rudd that ended with, "Now you're playing with power. Super Power." In fact, GameSpot has highlighted how Nintendo has, in a way, remastered the SNES ad for Switch 2, which can be seen below from Instagram.
