The entry-level Roku Streaming Stick delivers HD streaming and includes Roku's voice remote for $29.99, replacing the previous Roku Express. For users seeking higher resolution, the Roku Streaming Stick Plus offers 4K streaming with HDR support for $39.99, taking the place of the Roku Express 4K+. Roku highlights that both new sticks feature a compact design, claiming they are over 35% smaller than competitors, and are power-efficient enough to potentially be powered directly by a TV's USB port, reducing cable clutter. Both models support features like Backdrops and provide access to Roku's channel lineup. They are available for pre-order in the U.S. today and will ship starting May 6th.
