After weeks of rumors and speculation, Xbox and Bethesda officially revealed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered via a special livestream--after which they promptly shadow-dropped it on Xbox Series X|S (standalone and on Game Pass), PlayStation 5, and PC. During the livestream, Bethesda did address one very important element to the remaster: All of the silly dialogue fans have grown to love remains, with brand-new voiceovers to bring them to the modern age.Bethesda Game Studios director Tom Mustaine confirmed during the livestream that new voiceover lines were recorded in order to make each race in the game sound unique to one another.
