Starting Fingers of the Mountain Part IIFirst off, let's go over how the Fingers of the Mountain Part II quest gets added to your journal in Oblivion Remastered. At the end of Chorrol Recommendation, you could either give the Fingers of the Mountain book to Teekeeus or Earana. Regardless of who you gave the book to, you can speak to the other party, and they'll want you to steal the book back for them. This triggers the new quest. However, if you gave the book to Earana first, you can wait for her to translate the text and receive her notes on the book. Once you receive and read the notes, you'll start Fingers of the Mountain Part II. On the other hand, if you initially gave the book to Teekeeus and got his recommendation, the Fingers of the Mountain Part II quest won't be in your journal. To trigger it, you need to go and speak to Earana, tell her you gave the book to Teekeeus, and then she'll ask you to steal the book back. So, now that you're all caught up, let's talk about where you go from here. Stealing the book from TeekeeusIf you didn't give the book to Earana at the end of Chorrol Recommendation, you'll need to steal the book back from Teekeeus in order to progress in Fingers of the Mountain Part II. If you gave the book to Earana and have her translation notes, then you can skip this section. To steal the book from Teekeeus, you need to gain access to his personal bedroom chest on the top floor of the Chorrol Mages Guild. The key to the chest is on Teekeeus' person at all times, so you'll have to pickpocket it from him. The easiest way to do that is by waiting until it's nighttime and going up to the top floor of the guild. There, you'll find Teekeeus asleep in his bed. Crouch walk over to his bed, and when you're close enough, choose the option to pickpocket Teekeeus. To avoid waking him up, just take the Chest Key, as taking more could make Teekeeus catch you in the act. Once you have the key, use it to open the chest next to the bed, take the Fingers of the Mountain book, and get out of the Mages Guild. Returning to EaranaWith the book in your inventory, return to Earana, either at the Grey Mare tavern or in the streets of Chorrol, and hand the book over to her. She says she needs a couple of days to translate the text, so wait two to three days, return to her again, and then take her notes on the book. You can then read "Earana's Notes" in your inventory to trigger the Fingers of the Mountain Part II quest. From the notes, you'll learn that a new spell can be learned by using a specific spell at the peak of Cloud Top. However, in order to use the necessary spell, you'll need to have a Welkynd Stone. How to find Welkynd StonesA Welkynd Stone is an item that has magical properties in Oblivion Remastered. Its primary use is to restore magicka, but it can also be used as a conduit, which is what you need it for to perform the spell at Cloud Top. Welkynd Stones are mainly found by searching Aeylid Ruins in Cyrodiil. Of course, those aren't advertised on your world map unless you've previously visited one already. The easiest Aeylid Ruin to enter is called Vilverin, which is located just across the lake from the Sewer Entrance outside of the Imperial City, where you started the game. You can see exactly where Vilverin is located in our guide on where to go first in Oblivion Remastered. Inside Vilverin, you can navigate the various hallways and rooms to find a plethora of Welkynd Stones. On the first floor of the ruins, you can find six or seven Welkynd Stones that are lying on the ground, as you see in the screenshot above. However, in Vilverin and in other ruins, you can usually find Welkynd Stones that are being used as blue lights near the tops of ceilings. To get them down, shoot an arrow or magic spell, and they'll be knocked loose, allowing you to grab them. Welkynd Stones are extremely common in these ruins as long as you search hard enough. Traveling to Cloud TopWith the Welkynd Stone in your inventory, you can now travel to Cloud Top, which is located to the northwest of Chorrol. Starting Fingers of the Mountain Part II

First off, let's go over how the Fingers of the Mountain Part II quest gets added to your journal in Oblivion Remastered.
Stealing the book from Teekeeus

If you didn't give the book to Earana at the end of Chorrol Recommendation, you'll need to steal the book back from Teekeeus in order to progress in Fingers of the Mountain Part II.
Returning to Earana

With the book in your inventory, return to Earana, either at the Grey Mare tavern or in the streets of Chorrol, and hand the book over to her.
How to find Welkynd Stones

A Welkynd Stone is an item that has magical properties in Oblivion Remastered.
Traveling to Cloud Top

With the Welkynd Stone in your inventory, you can now travel to Cloud Top, which is located to the northwest of Chorrol. You can fast travel there since it's the same location where you found the Fingers of the Mountain book during Chorrol Recommendation.
At Cloud Top, approach the broken side of the stone statue in the center of the ruins. Open your spellbook and cast any shock spell while having the Welkynd Stone in your inventory. You don't need to do anything with the stone, just having it in your inventory is enough. The easiest spell to cast is simply called "Shock," and you can aim it right at the stone statue.
If you did everything correctly, you'll be granted the "Fingers of the Mountain" spell in your spellbook. This spell shocks targets and has a range of five feet.
After you receive the spell, the Fingers of the Mountain Part II quest is complete in Oblivion Remastered. Unlike Chorrol Recommendation, there's no alternate ending to this quest.
