Switch 2 Action RPG Leaked for PS5

The Nintendo Switch 2 launches this week, bringing the newest hybrid console experience to players’ hands and televisions around the world. One of its launch titles, which was originally announced only for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, was recently rated for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in Australia.

Nintendo Switch 2’s Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma rated for PS5

Australian Classification recently published its ratings for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. It received a PG rating due to mild fantasy themes, violence, coarse language, and in-game purchases.

As mentioned, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma was originally announced for the Nintendo Switch and PC with a May 30 release date attached. However, publisher Marvelous delayed the game to June 5 to launch with Nintendo Switch 2. While this rating for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions may indicate an imminent release, a specific release date has not yet been announced.

“Experience Rune Factory reimagined! Guardians of Azuma is an all-new adventure that takes place in the never-before-seen eastern country of Azuma,” reads the game’s description on Steam. “Embrace your Earth Dancer powers and fight against the corruption spreading throughout Azuma to bring hope back to this once-prosperous land.”

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will be $59.99 on Nintendo Switch and $69.99 on Nintendo Switch 2. A price is not listed on Steam. Pricing for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S is unknown as those versions have yet to be officially revealed. It may be best to assume those console versions are in line with the Nintendo Switch 2 version’s pricing.

There is a Digital Deluxe Edition for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma that looks to cost $20 more. It includes the base game, Rune Factory 4 Hero Outfit Bundle, Festive Attire & Dark Woolby Bundle, Seasons of Love Bundle, Digital Art Book, and Digital Soundtrack.
