Tenshabi revealed the Tokyu Fortnite Project, where it produces an accurate map of Shibuya using the same game. The company works on the project together with Tokyu Corporation, and they also plan to regularly update it by adding more features like mini-games and synchronizing with any real-life building updates. The map will primarily cover the area in front of the Shibuya Station. People will be able to use Fortnite avatars to explore the virtual representation of the real-world area. Tenshabi and Tokyu also project the map to be utilized in educational use cases, including disaster evacuation simulations. In addition, Tenshabi mentioned that it will also expand the project worldwide to let prospective foreign tourists experience the accurate Shibuya map. However, it added a disclaimer that it runs the project entirely on its own without any sponsorship or support from Epic Games.
