Analogue's 4K Nintendo 64 Delayed To July, 8BitDo 64 Controllers Still Available

Retro hardware manufacturer Analogue has delayed its modernized Nintendo 64 to July 2025. Originally planned for a Q1 2025 release, the highly anticipated $250 console has been sold out since October when preorders opened. The Analogue 3D is an FPGA device designed to provide an authentic N64 gameplay experience in 4K resolution on modern displays. It even supports all of the original accessories. It doesn't come with a controller, but if you want to ditch your old three-prong N64 controllers, Analogue collaborated with 8BitDo on a new-style controller that looks quite lovely. Unlike the console, the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller is still available to preorder at Amazon. Amazon currently lists the release date as June 30, though it's possible this is a placeholder and the controller will launch alongside the console in July.
