The word phasmophobia describes a fear of ghosts, but perhaps it's the spirits who should be afraid after Phasmophobia's next update. Kinetic Games has announced that the new Phasmophobia update, Chronicle, will arrive next month, and it will give players some upgraded tools for their ghosthunting endeavors.Chronicle is adding the ability to record and collect sound evidence of ghosts with an upgradable sound recorder that can detect hidden layers of audio from ghostly events that might otherwise go unnoticed. The update is also overhauling the game's evidence presentation, which will be reorganized into a media tab with three subsections--photos, videos, and sound recordings.
