After years of rumors, it’s finally time for Bethesda to reveal The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Bethesda hasn’t formally acknowledged the remake’s existence, but the title was leaked via court documents submitted by Microsoft, and later confirmed via screenshots found on developer Virtuos’ website.

The livestream, which is embedded below for our readers, will kick off at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET. That’s not long from now, so grab a snack and settle in.

Rumors of Oblivion remake heated up over the last few weeks when several insiders claimed that Bethesda plans to shadow drop the game. However, many of the rumors ended up being proven false because the dates that were given for the shadow drop came and went without a peep from Bethesda.

That all changed yesterday when Bethesda posted a cryptic teaser on its X account, asking fans to tune into the livestream above today.

As for the shadow drop, folks remain convinced that Oblivion will release later today. If true, this will be the first time PlayStation players will be able to pop trophies in the game since it originally released when PS3 didn’t have trophy support.
