When I first thought about switching from Windows to Linux, the main reason was simple — I want to control my computer. Windows always felt limited. I couldn’t understand what was going on behind the graphical interface, I didn’t have full control over the processes, and I couldn’t configure the system the way I wanted. Yes, Windows is convenient, but at some point, it just became… restrictive. ⚙️ I love to automate everything One of the main reasons I chose Linux is the ability to automate everything. I love to automate tasks and processes to save time. In Linux, it’s not just possible, it’s the standard practice. I’ve set up automatic updates, created system backups with scripts, and use the terminal to automate program installations. Not only does it save time, but it also makes the system truly mine. Every update, every new package — I decide what and how to install. This isn’t tied to forced downloads like in Windows. This is my freedom.
