HARMAN announces its new JBL Synthesis SMA Series amps
JBL Synthesis SMA 8300

Samsung-owned audio brand HARMAN just hit us with some exciting news. The company announced the new JBL Synthesis SMA Series Amplifiers to the U.S. market. They bring some top-of-the-line specs and amazing power to boost your home cinema experience. These amps are the SMA-4750 and the SMA-8300.

The new JBL Synthesis SMA amps bring a next-level home cinema expereince

Both of these two amps were designed to be stacked on top of each other. These Class-D multichannel DSP amplifiers come with some amazing features. While they sit in different prices tiers, they share some features like the full input and output Hi-Resolution DSP, bridgeable channels, and DANTE / AES67 digital audio networking. This means that you’lre getting a high-quality listening experience no matter which model you buy.

JBL Synthesis SMA-4750

Starting off with the more expensive model, the JBL Synthesis SMA-4750 is a fully-featured 4-channel amplifier. It can deliver up to 750W of power at 8Ω. With bridging, you can get up to 1,800W at 8Ω. It’s ideal to push a powerful signal to your loudspeaker or subwoofer. So, if you need some serious power for your home theater, this would be ideal.

All of that power produces some substantial heat. But, don’t worry; there are vents on the side that quietly pushout the hot air. Lastly, you can use a DPS suite with this amp. This means that you can use features with its like an EQ, limiter, delay, and more.

JBL Synthesis SMA-8300

Now for the more premium model. With the JBL Synthesis SMA-8300, you’re getting twice the number of channels. This 8-channel amp can deliver up to 300W at 8Ω. Like the other variant, the SMA-8300 can bridge. This one can bridge to get up to 1,200W at 8Ω. While it can’t push a signal as strong as the SMA-4750 can, it can push a pretty powerful signal to more speakers.
