Major 2024 PS5 Exclusive Lowest Price Yet on PS Store

One of 2024’s best PS5 console exclusive has received a hefty price drop in a new PS Store deal that ends next week. The acclaimed Bloober Team remake of Silent Hill 2 is at its lowest price yet with a 40% discount, going for $41.99 (down from $69.99).

Silent Hill 2 PS Store deal not available in some regions including EU/UK

For some reason, Silent Hill 2 is not part of the ongoing PS Store sale in all regions. This is a bit of an outlier considering the game isn’t restricted in any region and major game promotions tend to be uniform across Europe and North America, at least. At the time of this writing, the aforementioned deal is available in the U.S. but not in the U.K.

I’ve checked quite a few European stores and can confirm that Silent Hill 2 isn’t on sale in EU either. However, the 40% discount offer is available in Canada and some South American countries, indicating that this particular offer is mainly for the Americas.

In some Asian PS Stores including Singapore and Malaysia, Silent Hill 2 has received a 30% price cut. In Japan, the game is 40% off.

The only thing in common among all the regions above is that the deal will end next week, although end dates may differ. Folks in the Americas have until May 8 to avail the offer.
