Digimon Story: Time Stranger Characters and Story Shared
More information on the upcoming game Digimon Story: Time Stranger was shared during a presentation at Digimon Con 2025, including a better look at the main characters and story. The game itself is still expected to release sometime in 2025, and it has been confirmed to be coming to both the PC and Xbox Series X/S as well as PS5 consoles. The new details were shown off by Producer Ryosuke Hara, who explained that the new game's Human World areas will focus on the Shinjuku and Akihabara areas of Tokyo. Meanwhile, visits to the Digital World will be more frequent than in the Cyber Sleuth games. The new player characters in Digimon Story: Time Stranger are named Dan Yuki and Kanan Yuki, and they are elite operators from an organization that investigates anomalies. Players will choose which of the two to control, with the other character going on to provide support from the organization's headquarters. Additionally, Hara confirmed that players will be able to choose Patamon, Gomamon, or DemiDevimon as their starting Digimon, though the game will feature over 450 obtainable Digimon in total.
