Nanoleaf announces a new immersive lightstrip kit for your PC

If you are always on the lookout for cool smart lighting products, Nanoleaf should be familiar to you. It is one of the popular makers of modular and customizable LED light panels and blocks. The new lightstrip kit comes with 75 color-changing LEDs that you can attach to the back of your PC. Once attached, it’ll cast a colored glow on the wall behind your setup, which will then mirror or react to what’s happening on the screen.

If you’ve ever used the Nanoleaf 4D (Review), think of this as its compact and simple version, without the camera or a controller box. However, you can easily plug the new lightstrip into your PC’s USB port. Nanoleaf, on its product page, mentions that the immersive lightstrip comes with an “ultra-flexible adhesive zigzag design that seamlessly adheres to the contours of your monitor.”

The company further adds that the immersive lightstrip is designed to be used with monitors of up to 32 inches. If you use a small-sized monitor, feel free to trim the excess length of the lightstrip without damaging it. Nanoleaf also ships a tiny controller with the kit that lets you turn the lightstrip on and off.

You can also access the full suite of features by pairing the immersive lightstrip with the Nanoleaf Desktop app. What’s interesting is that you can choose from 16 million ambient colors. In addition, you can create your own scene using dynamic animated motions and palettes for personalizing your setup.
