Big PlayStation Blockbuster Is 58% Off on PS Store, DLC Free

A major PlayStation console exclusive is 58% off in a limited-time PS Store deal that ends soon. Santa Monica Studio’s God of War Ragnarok — a sequel to the 2018 hit that’s also discounted — is down to $29.39 from $69.99 for the PS5/cross-gen version. The game’s PS4 version is discounted by 67%, down to $19.79 from $59.99.

God of War Ragnarok PS Store deal ends in less than a week

For the uninitiated, purchasing God of War Ragnarok grants players access to free roguelite inpired DLC, Valhalla, on both the PS5 and PS4. However, the DLC doesn’t come packaged with the game and requires a separate download from the PS Store.

Both 2018’s God of War and 2023’s Ragnarok are discounted until March 27, following which they’ll revert back to their original prices. Do note that Ragnarok is currently part of the PS Plus Extra catalog, and both the game and its DLC can be streamed by PS Plus Premium members on the PS5 and PS Portal in regions where cloud streaming is supported.

God of War’s Digital Deluxe Edition is not part of the promotion.

In other God of War news, Ragnarok received a patch yesterday with free DLC, and all PSN users were treated to a 20th anniversary freebie.
