Users can select “Canvas” within their prompt bar and then proceed to write documents and even code, as well as the option to edit them with real-time previews. For example, a user can create a draft and select certain tweaks such as tone, length or formatting, with options to further tweak specific paragraphs.

This includes generating and previewing HTML/React code and other web app prototypes, which will then give you a visual representation of a design.
Meanwhile, Gemini’s Audio Overview can turn documents, slides and even Deep Research reports into podcast-style audio discussions, complete with AI hosts can converse based on audio files and include summaries of the material, engage in back-and-forth discussions and more. Audio Overview will roll out for Gemini and Gemini Advanced subscribers globally in English, with more languages in the pipeline.
