Motorola’s 2025 Razr Lineup Offers Something for Every Foldable Fan
Motorola's brand new 2025 Razr lineup includes the premium Razr Ultra, powerful Razr+, and budget-friendly Razr. The post Motorola’s 2025 Razr Lineup Offers Something for Every Foldable Fan appeared first on Phandroid.

Motorola is going all in on flip phones in 2025 with a three-tiered lineup: the flagship razr ultra, the premium-but-slightly-cheaper razr+, and the more accessible razr. Each has its own spin on the foldable formula, backed by Motorola’s new moto ai platform and design upgrades that actually matter.
Motorola Razr Ultra
If you want the best foldable Motorola has to offer, the razr ultra is it. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The 7-inch pOLED internal display boasts a 165Hz refresh rate and hits up to 4500 nits peak brightness. Even the 4-inch external display feels like a mini smartphone on its own, supporting full apps and widgets.
Motorola gives the ultra a premium finish—real Alcantara, FSC-certified wood, and unique Pantone color options. The hinge is reinforced with titanium and paired with Gorilla Glass Ceramic on the cover, giving it the highest durability rating in the lineup. Cameras are a big part of the story here too: a triple 50MP system including a telephoto lens and advanced AI enhancements like Group Shot, Action Shot, and air gestures.
Battery life? Expect around 36 hours from the 4700mAh cell, with 68W wired and 30W wireless charging support.
Motorola Razr+
The razr+ sits in the middle, but it’s not short on capability. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It shares the 4-inch external display with the ultra and keeps most of the AI camera features—though it has a dual-camera setup instead of a triple one.
The main screen is still a 6.9-inch 165Hz pOLED panel, and the 4000mAh battery supports 45W wired charging, plus 15W wireless and 5W reverse charging. Motorola also throws in software features like secure folders, multitasking gestures, and personalization controls.
Design-wise, the razr+ is wrapped in a soft vegan leather finish and comes in Pantone Mocha Mousse, Hot Pink, and Midnight Blue.
Motorola Razr (2025)
The entry-level razr doesn’t feel entry-level. It’s the first flip phone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400X, offering solid AI performance with better power efficiency. It has a smaller 3.6-inch external screen but keeps the same 6.9-inch 120Hz internal display.
You still get a 50MP main camera and 13MP ultrawide, with AI-backed features like Signature Style and Auto Night Vision. The 4500mAh battery supports 30W wired and 15W wireless charging, so it’s no slouch when it comes to daily use.
Design options include leather-, nylon-, and acetate-inspired finishes in vibrant colors like Spring Bud and Gibraltar Sea.
