Summary: OPPO’s compact flagship has just been shown alongside its sibling, while some of their specs have been shared too. We can thank the OPPO Find chief for that. Both smartphones have very thin bezels, flat displays, and a centered display camera hole too. The glass on top of their displays is curved. The Find X8s will have a 6.3-inch display, while the ‘Plus’ model will ship with a 6.59-inch panel.
It’s not exactly a secret that OPPO’s compact flagship is coming next month. It’s name is the OPPO Find X8s, and it will launch alongside the Find X8s+, and the Find X8 Ultra handsets. The ‘Ultra’ model is the company’s upcoming flagship.
OPPO’s compact flagship poses next to its sibling, while some specs have been revealed too
OPPO’s spokesperson revealed the OPPO Find X8s design a couple of days ago. Now, the chief of the OPPO Find series, has shared more information. He gave us a look at the OPPO Find X8s and Find X8s+, as they stand side by side in the image below.
Some of their specifications have also been revealed. The OPPO Find X8s will feature a 6.3-inch display, while the ‘Plus’ model will come with a 6.59-inch display. Both smartphones will be fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor.
That chip was not revealed just yet, but it’s obviously coming very soon. It will either launch on the same day as these devices, or a bit before that. Either way, we’re expecting it to break ground in April.
Android 15 will come pre-installed, while Magnetic Charging 2.0 will be supported
Furthermore, both of these smartphones will ship with Android 15 out of the box. On top of it, you’ll get OPPO’s ColorOS 15 skin. We’re still not sure if either of these devices will be available outside of China.
The last piece of information that was confirmed is the charging. Both phones will support Magnetic Charging 2.0. Chances are that both phones will support 50W wireless charging, by the way. The magnetic function will likely require a case to be attached.
The OPPO Find X8 Ultra will take the spotlight, that’s for sure, but the OPPO Find X8s sure does seem like an interesting phone. We’re wondering what kind of camera setup will it have. Chances are it will be quite compelling, though.
