PS Plus exclusives leaving service

PS Plus users are voicing their frustration after Sony revealed that several first-party exclusives will leave the service in May. While this is nothing new, it’s unusual for multiple beloved console exclusives to depart PS Plus at the same time, and that too in a month with more than twice the amount of departures than new additions to the service.

No reason for Sony to pull first-party exclusives, say PS Plus members

Earlier today, players found out that Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, and Infamous: Second Son will be among a total of 22 games departing PS Plus a month after a scant April, which saw only six games added to the Extra tier (a total of eight for Premium members).

“Literally no reason for Infamous and Resistance to be leaving the service ever,” a reader complained to us on X. “Is it just me or does it always seem like there are more games leaving than coming to the service every month?” quizzed another.

Reddit was flooded with similar comments. “The disrespect to Resistance is wild, right after they’re increasing the price [of PS Plus],” a Redditor complained.

It certainly doesn’t help that Premium costs a pretty penny now. Pulling two popular PS3 games right after the price hike was understandably not going to go down well.
