The Switch got one last hurrah with a Nintendo Direct before the showcase for its successor next week, and it's fair to say that the console is going out with a bang. No, there was no mention of the Switch 2, but considering that its own direct is mere days away, that's hardly surprising. Nintendo dropped the news about the Direct on March 26, just 24 hours before the showcase went live. We were treated to some great announcements, including a look at Metroid Prime 4 and some old-school JRPGs that are making a comeback. Naturally, we're still wearing our clown makeup after hoping for a Hollow Knight Silksong release date.
