Hands-on video exposes OPPO Find X8 Ultra design, certification confirms specs

Summary: A hands-on video has just appeared to show us the upcoming OPPO Find X8 Ultra flagship. On top of that, the phone’s specifications have been confirmed by TENAA listing, an official certification. This phone will arrive on April 10, along with OPPO Find X8s, and Find X8s+.

The OPPO Find X8 Ultra design is not exactly a secret thanks to leaks thus far. However, we did not see the phone in a video format, until now. The device has just surfaced in a hands-on video, while its specs got confirmed thanks to a certification listing.

Let’s talk about the video first, shall we? It was shared by Ice Universe on Instagram. He is one of the most prominent tipsters out there, so this is likely the real deal. On top of that, it is the same phone as the one shown in official images, so… there you go.

As you can see, the device has a flat frame all around, while its corners are rounded. It has a large camera oreo on the back, which does protrude on the back. Both the phone’s front and back sides are entirely flat.

You will notice that there are power/lock and volume up and down buttons placed on the right side of the device. On the left, you’ll notice a new customizable key that will replace the alert slider.

The tipster, unfortunately, does not show us the front side of the phone. We did see it before, however, and know that a centered display camera hole will sit up top, while the display will be flat. Its bezels will be minimal and uniform.

Official certification shared the phone’s specs

The OPPO Find X8 Ultra also popped up on TENAA. That is China’s equivalent to the FCC, basically. Thanks to that listing, the phone’s specs have been confirmed. Well, OPPO did confirm plenty of those a while back, but now we get an even more complete picture

The phone will feature a 6.82-inch 3168 x 1440 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The OPPO Find X8 Ultra will measure 163.09 x 76.8 x 8.78mm and weigh 226 grams.

It will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and include 12GB or 16GB of RAM, depending on the model. Its storage will range from 256GB to 1TB, once again, depending on the model. Android 15 will come pre-installed with ColorOS 15.

There are four 50-megapixel cameras on the back, joined by a 2-megapixel snapper, probably a multi-spectral unit. An IR blaster sits at the top of the phone too.

A 6,100mAh battery will be included inside the phone, while the device will support 100W wired and 50W magnetic wireless charging. The OPPO Find X8 Ultra will launch on April 10.
