Vtuber Nanashi Mumei to Graduate from Hololive

Hololive Vtuber Nanashi Mumei announced she will be graduating from Cover's company on April 28, 2025. She cited issues with her health, as well as "internal misalignment in the company" as reasons for her departure. Known for her singing, drawing, and live performances, Mumei suffered from chronic health problems including a persistent cough that have affected her ability to stream and perform. She also was attending college while performing as a Vtuber. She stated that she intends to take part in multiple collaborations with other members in the time before her graduation. Mumei debuted back in August 2021 as part of Hololive English's Council generation. After the graduation of member Tsukumo Sana in 2022, the unit merged into a new unit called Hololive Promise alongside Vsinger IRyS. As of the time of Mumei's graduation, Hakos Baelz and Ouro Kronii are the only original members of Council still remaining.
