The latest PS5 update quietly improved a feature players have been asking for quite a while. Players who love putting games on their wishlist in the PS Store are going to be very happy.
What is the new PS5 update?
As mentioned in a Reddit thread, the latest PS5 update quietly increased the total number of games players can add to their PS Store wishlist. Previously, PS5 and PS4 users were only able to add 100 games. However, after this new update, it seems the new item limit for the wishlist is 188.
This is a pretty big deal for PS5 and PS4 owners who use the wishlist feature on the PS Store as a way to track when specific games go on sale. For those unaware, any time a game on a player’s wishlist goes on sale on Sony’s digital gaming storefront, it notifies the player to let them know about the deal. However, although 100 spots sounds like a lot, players would add different editions of the same game as some specific versions will go on sale rather than just the base version. The extra 88 spots will hopefully alleviate that to some degree.
