Summary: OPPO has confirmed the launch date of the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8s handsets. Its flagship smartphone and compact flagship smartphone are coming. The Find X8s+, Pad 4 Pro, Watch X2 Mini, and Enco Free 4 are also expected to become official. The event is taking place on April 10 in China, and it remains to be seen if any of these devices will get global variants.
OPPO has confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra flagship will launch on April 10. The OPPO Find X8s will arrive too, the company’s compact flagship. The Find X8s+ is also expected, and the same goes for the OPPO Pad 4 Pro, Watch X2 Mini and Ecno Free 4.
The OPPO Find X8 Ultra’s launch date has been confirmed
So, as you can see, OPPO will announce plenty of devices during the event. The spotlight will definitely be on the OPPO Find X8 Ultra, as it’s the most powerful smartphone OPPO will announce this year.
The OPPO Find X8s will also take a part of the attention, as it’s the company’s high-end compact smartphone. Do note that this event is taking place in China, and is for the Chinese market. We’re not sure if any of these products will make their way to global markets.
The OPPO Find X6 Pro and OPPO Find X7 Ultra did not launch globally. Those were the company’s flagships in 2023 and 2024. Consumers have been waiting for OPPO to launch its most powerful device outside of China, and it remains to be seen if it will happen with this device.
Many devices will launch, but the ‘Ultra’ will be in focus
The OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro did launch globally, those are also high-end phones, but the ‘Ultra’ model will trump both of them. It will have the most powerful camera setup OPPO ever placed in a smartphone.
It will have a 1-inch type main camera sensor, two periscope telephoto cameras, and an ultrawide snapper. Hasselblad will be a part of the package, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite will fuel the phone.
A 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display will be used too, and it will be flat. A 6,000mAh battery is also expected, along with plenty of RAM and 100W wired charging. 50W wireless charging will also be on offer. The phone also surfaced on Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG recently.
