The Last of Us 2 Drops Intergalactic Reward via Update 2.0.0

Naughty Dog will roll out The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered update 2.0.0. today, which will add an Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet unlockable to the No Return mode. The reward is a new skin for Ellie featuring protagonist Jordan A. Mun’s jacket from the upcoming game.

The Last of Us Update 2.0.0 patch notes will be available on PS5 later today

TLOU2 Remastered update 2.0.0 hasn’t gone live yet, but is scheduled to roll out at some point today. Players will be able to unlock the skin via in-game bonus points earned from the roguelike survival mode.

The free update will be available on both the PS5 and PC at the same time. However, PC players will need to sign into PSN — now optional — in order to access the skin.

Other than the above, today’s update will also add two new characters: Bill and Marlene from The Last of Us Part 1. We’ll also get new trophies and four new maps, including Overlook, School, and Nest.

“Bill is a Smuggler playstyle who can access a custom pump shotgun from dead drops, and receives double rewards from drops as well,” Naughty Dog explained. “Marlene, meanwhile, features a Risk Taker playstyle that includes a Custom Assault Rifle, “All or Nothing” gambits, can reroute her No Return path once per run, and more.”

Finally, TLOU2 Remastered update 2.0.0 will bring some bug fixes and improvements, which will be detailed in the patch notes once they become available.
