Now Brief won't skip the Galaxy S24

The Galaxy S24 is knee-deep into the One UI 7 beta program, and it’s gotten pretty much all of the new Galaxy AI features we’re seeing in the Galaxy S25 series. One of the features, Now Brief, has been missing from the beta, and it made us think that it would skip the series. However, that’s not the case. It looks like Now Brief will come to the Galaxy S24.

Six beta updates in, and the Galaxy S24 is almost ready for the stable One UI 7 release. The updates mostly surround Galaxy AI, but there are new icons and animations for people to look forward to as well. Samsung finally announced that the stable update will come to Galaxy S24 users, and they’re excited. It will start making its way to users fairly soon.

The Galaxy S24 will get Now Brief

One of the more notable features to land with One UI 7 is Now Brief. This is a rundown of your day. You’ll see things like the weather, your calendar, top headlines, and more. It’s a one-stop shop for information about your day. It could come in handy for people who have busy lives.

The people testing out the One UI 7 beta on the Galaxy S24 noticed that this feature wasn’t there. So, we naturally assumed that Samsung didn’t want to bring it to the Galaxy S24. It seemed odd, as the Now Brief is nothing that the Galaxy S24 couldn’t handle. So, we chalked it up to an odd choice.

However, the folks at Sam Mobile discovered it in the code. So, if you’re using the sixth beta, you technically have the feature, but it’s not accessible at the moment. You’ll have to manually dig into the code and activate it, which is something that not everyone can do.

There’s no telling why Samsung has left the switch off for that feature specifically, but we’re sure that it will be accessible when One UI hits the stable channel for the Galaxy S24.
